FÜRST WILHELM
Oldenburg, 2006, Black-brown, 16,6hh (169 cm)
Sire: Fürst Heinrich, Dam: Lady Scarlett (by Sandro Hit)
Dressage level: S
A gleaming, black step master with fascinating looks. A superior presence and an arrangement of movement that would be hard to equal. Fürst Wilhelm won ribbons in tests for young riding horses as well as elementary (L) and medium (M) level tests for young dressage horses. In the meantime, he is trained up to advanced (S) level. He took his 30-day test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2009, finishing with clearly over average scores. His first foals have clearly inherited his type and many have received premiums. In 2014, his eldest offspring were four-years old and, according to their age, placed with the best in test for young riding horses and dressage horses. In FN's predicted breeding value statistics for dressage Fürst Wilhelm celebrated his fantastic debut with 142 points. In fall 2014 his first two sons were licensed in Redefin, thereunder the reserve dressage champion who was brilliant in type. Furthermore, Fürst Wilhelm is sire of Germany' s most expensive foal (100,000 Euro) in 2013.
Predestined for dressage, Fürst Wilhelm is a good example of up-to-date breeding. His sire, Fürst Heinrich, who left the breeding scene at an early age, was the winner of his 30-day test in 2001, Champion Stallion of four-year old main premium winners at the 2002 Oldenburg licensing and celebrated World Champion of five-year old dressage horses in 2003 in Verden. In just a few years he became one of the top sires with nearly 50 licensed sons and more than 100 State Premium Mares. Fürst Heinrich as sire, followed by Sandro Hit, De Niro, Rubinstein I and in the “background”, from the breeding house Wernke, the unforgotton DLG-Stute Love Story (by Freiherr), who made history through her daughter Love Story II (by Akzent II), Oldenburg Champion Mare 1991 – what a pedigree!
